Hot Toys keeps cranking out Iron Man figures because collectors keep buying them. The Mark 85 from Endgame's final battle hits different when you see the weathering detail up close.
Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 85: Battle Damage Done Right
The Mark 85 captures Tony's last stand with interchangeable battle damage pieces. You get clean armor panels and beat-to-hell versions showing the toll of wielding the Infinity Stones. The nano-particle effects on the gauntlet look incredible under proper lighting.

The LED functions work on multiple points. Helmet, arc reactor, repulsors, and the Infinity Gauntlet all light up independently. Battery access doesn't require full disassembly like some earlier releases.
War Machine Mark VII: Heavy Artillery Showcase
Rhodes gets the big guns treatment with the Mark VII. The shoulder-mounted weaponry actually articulates and the minigun rotates. This isn't just a repaint of existing Iron Man tooling.

The weathering here focuses on tactical wear rather than battle damage. Scuffed paint on high-contact areas and worn metal finishes where weapons would naturally rub against the armor. It looks like military hardware should look.
Quarter Arcade Alternative: Galaga Nostalgia Hit
Sometimes you need something that doesn't cost half a mortgage payment. New Wave Toys' Galaga Quarter Arcade delivers authentic arcade experience in a desktop footprint.

The controls feel right. Joystick has proper resistance and the fire button has that satisfying click. Sound quality punches above the price point with clear audio through the built-in speaker.
Display Considerations
Both Iron Man figures need space. The Mark 85 with battle damage parts displayed looks best with some breathing room to appreciate the detail work. War Machine's weapons array demands even more real estate.
Hot Toys continues improving their light-up features. The newer figures hold battery life better and the LEDs don't dim as quickly as older releases. Still recommend removing batteries for long-term storage.
These aren't impulse purchases at these price points. But if you're committed to sixth scale collecting, both figures represent Hot Toys at their current peak. The engineering keeps getting better even if the prices keep climbing.
